Biography:
Scottish painter, Sir Joseph Noel Paton was a friend of Millais, whom he met while studying at the Royal Academy. He was initially associated with the Pre-Raphaelites . He later produced mythological and historical scenes. He also earned a good deal of success and fame with his religious pictures.
